Welcome, Hikers! We meet every Saturday at 9 a m in the Highland Farms Garden Parking Lot

All are welcome to join our outings, which usually finish up by noon or 1 pm. This is a good way to meet fellow hikers and learn about opportunities in the area.

We usually hike in the vast network of trails in Montreat, Ridgecrest, Christmount, Warren Wilson, the Oaks, and the Blue Ridge Assembly.

Occasionally we venture out to Craggy Gardens, the North Carolina Arboretum, and other spots less than an hour away.

If you also have a more general interest in our outdoor environment, you might enjoy meetings of the WENOCA chapter of the Sierra Club, which meets the first Thursday of each month at 7:00 pm at the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Asheville, 1 Edwin Place, just off Charlotte Street heading toward the Grove Park Inn.
